Love Your Neighbour
Love Your Neighbour (LYN) is a community-focused organization that aims to serve
the city of Kamloops by meeting needs through as many avenues as possible. LYN was established
out of a desire to serve individuals from various walks of life by meeting any need, no matter
how big or small. LYN offers a variety of different services - anything from landscaping services
to engaging children's programs (such as GROW and Peter and Friends Puppet Theatre).
Assistance is made available to community members who would
otherwise not be able to afford it, which in turn also supports community development and helps
to improve the quality of life in our city. This organization encourages a sense of purpose and
belonging by providing opportunities for individuals to be a part of serving the community and
learning new skills that they would otherwise not have. By encouraging individuals to value life
and live in a sustainable way, we hope to build a better future for our community and for future
generations.

Eruption House of Coffee
Any experienced student knows that getting the best espresso and dessert on campus requires
hitting up Eruption House of Coffee (EHC) on a Thursday night. EHC was established in
1997 by Pastors Scot and Kara Shea. It is student-run, and free of charge. Running from 8-11pm,
students can find espresso beverages, desserts, live music, games, and pool EVERY THURSDAY in the
Multi-Purpose Room @ TRU Residence
and
Trinity House @ Upper College Heights.
Little Known fact...
EHC also functions as a catering service. Want quality espresso,
desserts, and live music at your next event? Contact us via ehc@twelvestones.ca
Phos Productions
During the fall of 2008, through much collaboration and prayer, a production company was born with
the opening of Love. This production was a combination of several minuets showcasing music,
dance, drama, art, and multi-media with "love" as the overall theme. In December 2008 the production
company took on a more theatrical tone with Apple Cider, a series of scenes in which nativity
characters and characters from modern day share their perceptions of Christmas. In November 2009,
Phos Productions took the city by surprise with the four day showing of Jealousy – A lovely production
held at the Pavilion Theatre in downtown Kamloops. Jealousy was a paranormal look at the life of
a "good man" whose life spirals out of control. Every performance is entirely original material -
written, choreographed, and recorded by members of Phos Productions. Be sure to watch for future productions!
